The Beautiful Tree refers to James Tooley’s latest book about school education markets in developing countries. There has been a buzz lately about the potential of this Bottom of the Pyramid market. Is it true? Yes. I have spent about seven years following and working in this market dealing with more than two hundred BoP school entrepreneurs. And hence am poised to give you a roundabout glimpse of what works and what doesnt.
